Bective’s 2nd Championship game of 2023, a winter’s evening in early Autumn, away to Dunderry, and a must win game for Bective.
Dunderry got off to a fast start with their County star Aoife Minogue netting early. However, Bective were not to be outdone with Lucie Larkin netting to tie the game 1-2 apiece after 15 minutes.
The half continued in competitive fashion with Bective trailing by 2 points at half time.
Dunderry started the second half in determined fashion with Bective holding on. Somehow Bective clawed their way back into the game, going 2 points clear after 15 minutes. Dunderry rallied and tied the game with only a few minutes on the clock. Unfazed, Bective swept up the pitch in a brilliant series of interlocking passes with Ava Sheeran slotting a point to break the deadlock. Bective held on to the 1 point lead to win the game by the minimum.
