Last October, at half time in the Junior A County final – the Hogge familiy presented the Meath County Board with the Greg Hogge Memorial Cup.
Greg passed away suddenly on the 8th of May 2019 on the Hill of Tara whilst out for a run. His sudden death devastated his loving family, girlfriend Aisling, clubmates in Bective GFC and a huge circle of friends. Greg Hogge was a dedicated player for the club from underage right through to the adult ranks and was captain of our B League team.
We look forward to finding out which club will have the privilege of having their name on the ” Greg Hogge Memorial Cup”
This evening the cup with be handed over to the winner of the Reserve Cup Division 2 Final between Ballinlough and St Colmcilles.
That game is Throwing in at 8pm in Ballinlough.
