On what nearly felt like a winters evening, our U15 boys hit the road to Castletown yesterday evening, in the wind and rain to take on Killary Emmets in the O’Reilly & Co Solicitors U15 League Div 3 Semi Final.
Heavily depleted due to holidays, Gaeltacht’s and COVID, we got the bare 15 together for the match. And what warriors those 15 boys were. These teams previously met in round 5 of the league – where Killary Emmets ran out hugely convincing winners, beating us by 17 points.
Every single one of our boys, from 1-15 put in a solid performance and we came out on top after a tough battle.

We will now meet Dunshaughlin in the final in 2 weeks’ time. Dunshaughlin had a comprehensive win over table toppers Wolfe Tones in the other group semi-final.
