Cycle Against Suicide is an initiative started in 2013 to raise awareness of the considerable help and supports that are available for anyone battling depression, self-harm, at risk of suicide or those bereaved by suicide.
The main cycle takes place from Saturday 28 April 2018 – Monday 7 May 2018 (bank holiday). The route passes through 17 counties & 67 towns and stops at 40 locations throughout the 750 Km route.
Help us spread the message “It’s OK not to feel OK; and it’s absolutely OK to ask for help.” Join us and help break the cycle of suicide on the island of Ireland.
This years first stopover is arriving in Simonstown GAA Centre Saturday 28th April at 5pm. It operates a home stay programme that see people from across the Island of Ireland open their homes to the cyclists each year.
Can you provide a cyclist with a bed, a warm meal and somewhere to freshen up ? Use this as you’re way to help break the cycle.
